The media office of artist Hany Shaker announced that his health condition is stable, following his recent spinal surgery to stabilize the vertebrae, which required pausing his artistic activities for the current period.

The statement said: “The Arab singing icon Hany Shaker reassures his esteemed audience and fans in Egypt and across the Arab world that his health is stable and reassuring, following the spinal surgery he underwent to stabilize the vertebrae, which was successfully completed, thanks to God.”

It added: “Based on doctors’ advice, artist Hany Shaker is currently observing a rest period of 10 days, after which he will resume his artistic activity starting January 31, 2026, with a concert to be held in Abu Dhabi.”

The media office indicated that all previously announced concerts will take place as scheduled.

Shaker has completed recording a new song titled “Ila Ana Wa Iyak,” composed by Ahmed Barakat, with lyrics by Mazen Daher, arranged by Zahir Deeb, and recorded by Hossam Al-Saabi.

The statement concluded: “The Arab singing icon expressed his deep gratitude to his wide audience for their love, care, and sincere prayers, affirming his great eagerness to meet his fans soon on stage.”
