Gold prices in the local Jordanian market witnessed a notable increase on Monday, recording new record figures, according to the bulletin issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry Trade and Craft Shops.
The morning pricing showed that the selling price of a 21-carat gold gram reached 92.7 dinars at jewelry shops, compared to 89 dinars for purchase by citizens.
Expectations of Further Fluctuations The price of a gram of gold for 24-carat reached 106 dinars, 18-carat at 82.6 dinars, and 14-carat at 64.5 dinars, for selling purposes at jewelry shops.
These increases come at a time when Jordanians continue to closely monitor the yellow metal, amid expectations of further fluctuations in the local market due to global economic factors.
