Egyptian artist Mohamed Mounir announced the postponement of his scheduled concert in Dubai, which was to feature a performance with Egyptian rapper Wegz, due to a sudden health issue and a severe cold.
The “King” shared on his official Facebook Stories: "To my beloved audience, the Arena Dubai concert scheduled for January 17, 2026, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control (a cold). The new date will be announced soon."
A Concert with a New Artistic Vision
Mounir had previously expressed his great eagerness to meet his audience in Dubai, confirming that the concert would present a new and different artistic vision from his previous shows, offering fans a unique musical experience.
It is worth noting that the first collaboration between Mohamed Mounir and Wegz was the song “Kalam Fursan”, whose music video achieved millions of views across various music and digital platforms.
On the artistic front, the “King” recently released his latest song titled “Bta’li”, following his recovery from the health crisis he experienced in December. The song features lyrics by poet Amir Taima, composition by Amr Mostafa, and musical arrangement by Osama El Hindi, adding to Mounir’s rich repertoire that blends modernity and authenticity.
