News websites and social media platforms circulated reports that the legendary Lebanese singer Fairuz is going through a severe psychological crisis following the death of her third son, Hali Rahbani

A source confirmed the accuracy of the circulating information, noting that Fairuz is indeed experiencing a major psychological shock, especially just six months after the death of her brother, Ziad Rahbani.

The source simultaneously denied any deterioration in Fairuz’s health or transfer to a hospital, stating that such reports have no basis in truth.

He explained that losing two of her children in a short period has intensified her psychological pain, plunging her into a deep emotional crisis.

Hali Rahbani’s funeral took place last Saturday, with family members and close associates in attendance. Fairuz appeared extremely saddened, receiving condolences in a moving scene that reflected her deep bond with her son, who lived away from the public eye due to paralysis and a mental disability.

Reports indicate that Hali’s body was buried alongside his late brother, Ziad Rahbani, in a private grave within Fairuz’s garden in the Choueir area, in accordance with her wishes.

Hali is the third child Fairuz has lost after Ziad, and prior to them, her daughter Layal passed away in 1988 at the age of 29, leaving Rima, born in 1965, as her only surviving child.
