The accident resulted from a violent collision between two transport trucks, one of which was carrying a number of quarry workers. Following this, authorities ordered the provision of emergency aid and relief assistance to the families of the victims.

Authorities deployed 11 ambulances to transport the deceased and injured to Minya Chest Hospital, while three critical cases were transferred to the Fever Hospital under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor to monitor their health condition.

In an urgent statement, the Governor of Minya directed all relevant authorities to provide full medical care to the injured, with continued coordination between the ambulance service and traffic management to clear the accident scene and safely restore road traffic.

The Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Maya Morsi, also confirmed the provision of emergency aid and relief assistance to the families of the victims, both deceased and injured, in an effort to mitigate the impact of this tragedy on the local community.
