The prominent Lebanese artist Fairuz is living through a period of deep psychological pain following the death of her son Hali Rahbani at the age of 68, after a long struggle with health challenges since birth, which kept him away from the public eye throughout his life.

Hali’s funeral is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, at 3:00 PM at the “Church of the Dormition of the Virgin” in the “Mouhidiyeh” area of the Lebanese town of “Bikfaya,” in a painful event for the artist who had previously mourned her other son, Ziad Rahbani, a few months ago.

Condolences will be received at the church by fans and friends of the artist, with doors opening to mourners starting from 12:00 PM, ahead of the burial ceremony.

The final farewell According to press sources, Hali will be laid to rest from the same church from which Ziad Rahbani was mourned, and he will be buried next to his brother’s grave in a private cemetery prepared in Fairuz’s garden in the “Choueir” area, in accordance with her personal wishes.

Hali, who lived with paralysis, is the third child Fairuz has lost, following Ziad and previously her daughter Layal, who passed away in 1988 at the age of 29. With this, Fairuz is left with only her daughter Rima, born in 1965, leaving sorrow a persistent presence in her life after a series of painful family losses.
