Roya Media Group has completed filming of the new season of the cooking competition program “Aqwa Sofra with Almarai,” ahead of its broadcast as part of Roya TV’s Ramadan 2026 lineup. The completion of filming comes in line with Roya’s ongoing commitment to delivering renewed, family-oriented entertainment throughout the holy month.

Filming wrapped following an intensive production phase that brought together creative development and high-end execution. The Creative Lab led the development of the concept and creative format of the show, while The Show Services, one of Roya Media Group’s specialized television production companies, oversaw execution and production, applying advanced technical and directing standards.

The season is directed by Abdullah Khalifeh and prepared by Shadi Jaber, and will be presented by TV host Nasser Al-Sheikh. The judging panel features chef Deema Hajjawi, chef Sidqi Naddaf, and Lebanese chef Hammoud, whose combined expertise adds depth and competitiveness to the program.

The competition centers on head-to-head challenges between two teams in each episode, leading to the final round where contestants compete for the grand prize of 10,000 JOD. The new season introduces expanded culinary challenges, enhanced evaluation mechanisms, and innovative elements designed to heighten suspense and elevate the overall viewing and digital engagement experience.

Building on the strong digital presence achieved in previous seasons, the program is expected to continue generating wide audience interaction across Roya’s platforms through engaging content and competitive highlights.
