Following reports of her separation from Captain Mohamed Abdel Monsef, former goalkeeper of Zamalek Club and the Egyptian national team, Iman Al-Zaidi’s name quickly trended across social media platforms.

The reactions coincided with Al-Zaidi’s announcement on her Facebook account about ending her relationship with Mohamed Abdel Monsef after a marriage that lasted over seven years.

The news shocked the public, especially since Abdel Monsef’s previous marriage to actress Lika’ Al-Khamisi has been known for over 21 years, and no prior details about Al-Zaidi’s marital life had been disclosed.

Amid the rapid spread of the news, Lika’ Al-Khamisi remained silent and issued no statement, while her fans and followers expressed interest in the news, questioning the future of Al-Khamisi’s current marriage after the announcement.

Who is Iman Al-Zaidi? Iman Al-Zaidi studied at the Faculty of Media – Radio and Television Department, and worked as a presenter for a short period of less than six months before moving into acting through her friend, presenter Amira Adly, who suggested she try commercials to get accustomed to the camera and gain experience before entering acting.

Al-Zaidi took her first artistic steps through a commercial directed by Ahmed Nady Galal, who later recommended her for the series "Raqm Majhool" (Unknown Number) starring Youssef El Sherif in 2012. She then took acting lessons to improve her skills and appeared in several projects in minor roles, including "Al-Murafaa", "Saaheratu Al-Janoub", and "Ism Mouaqqat (Temporary Name)".

Her most recent works include the film "Talaq Sina’i (Artificial Divorce)" and the series "Malika", both released in 2018.
