Activists Spread False Reports of a Child’s Death in Irbid from a Dog Bite Security Forces Deny Circulated Claims, Confirm No Involvement in Such Incident

Activists recently circulated on social media the death of a child in Irbid due to a dog bite, causing widespread concern and panic among Jordanians.

In response, the General Directorate issued a statement to “Roya TV” on Monday, denying the reports as false and confirming that the competent authorities have not dealt with any such incident in Irbid or any similar case.

The statement added that these rumors are inaccurate, urging everyone to verify information before sharing or reposting any news to preserve credibility and prevent the spread of misleading information that could cause public alarm.
