From Screen to Ramadan 2026
Menna Shalaby is preparing to appear in the upcoming Ramadan series "Taht Al Hisar" alongside Eyad Nassar, directed by Peter Mimi and produced by United Studios. The series, consisting of 15 episodes, focuses on human stories in Gaza during the recent Israeli aggression, highlighting tales of love, hope, and resilience amid the war.
The plot revolves around an Egyptian medical convoy entering Gaza, while a Palestinian father tries to save his son amid the bombing, creating a series of powerful human connections between characters, including Dr. Rahima (played by Menna Shalaby) and Eyad Nassar’s character, who faces internal conflicts between duty, fear, and hope.
The series features a selection of top Arab and international stars, including Palestinian actor Kamel Al-Basha, Tara Aboud, and a wide cast from Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine.
Menna Shalaby and the Film 7 Dogs
In addition to her TV activities, Menna Shalaby is set to release the film 7 Dogs, co-starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, scheduled to premiere soon, reflecting her ongoing intensive artistic activity following her marriage.
