Tariq Jamil Saeed, the lawyer of media personality Amr Adib, surprised the public by announcing his withdrawal from Adib’s legal cases and renouncing his defense after a 14-year-long professional relationship, affirming that he still holds him in love, esteem, and respect.

Tariq Jamil posted on his Facebook account: "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Today, after 14 years, I renounce my defense of the great media figure, my brother and friend Amr Adib, while maintaining for him love, reverence, and respect."

The lawyer explained that the reason behind his decision is the differing goals and life paths of both parties at this stage. He said: "But the goals of each of us, and the life of each of us at this stage, are completely different and unacceptable to me, and they do not align with my current thinking. Therefore, I apologized for continuing the legal relationship between us, hoping that Adib finds someone suitable for this stage in his life. May God grant him success and bless his life and health."

This announcement comes just days after Amr Adib’s separation from his former wife, media personality Lamis Al-Hadidi, amid reports of his imminent remarriage. Many of Tariq Jamil’s followers praised his humanitarian stance, his professional integrity, and his adherence to principles.
