A 32-year-old man died in Girinagar, Bengaluru, after being electrocuted while attempting to rescue his macaw.

Arun Kumar, the factory owner, climbed his house wall holding a steel pipe to bring the colorful macaw back to safety.

The bird landed on a nearby electric pole and escaped his control, prompting Kumar to climb higher in an effort to contain the situation.
