Young Man Rides High-Speed Roller Coaster at 100 km/h Severe Injuries Cause Immediate Death in Tragic Accident

A 32-year-old man, named Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, tragically died while riding a high-speed roller coaster at the famous "Universal Epic Universe" theme park in Orlando, Florida.

According to the police report and the "Mirror" newspaper, Zavala rode the high-speed coaster "Stardust Racers," which reaches speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour. At the end of the ride, the man was found unconscious and slumped in his seat, suffering severe injuries.

The coroner's report revealed a deep head wound, a fracture in the bony ridge above the eye, bleeding above the skull, bruises on the abdomen and arms, as well as a broken nose and fracture of the right thigh bone.

Anna Marshall, a doctor waiting to ride the coaster, said that Zavala was covered in blood and slumped as the ride returned to the platform, adding that his arm was dangling and his thigh bone was broken in half, resting on the seat.

His girlfriend, Javiles Cruz-Rubles, stated that Zavala used a wheelchair and had metal rods in his back from a previous spinal surgery, but clarified that this was not the only reason for the accident.

The coroner concluded that the death resulted from injuries caused by severe trauma, while the Orange County police report confirmed that theme park staff followed all procedures and were not negligent.

Paramedic Sebastian Torres explained that Zavala was secured with a safety harness, which operators had difficulty unfastening for ten minutes. His girlfriend added that the harness was too low on his thighs, causing his head to hit the bar during the first movement of the coaster, repeating several times during the ride.
