Actress Mona Zaki expressed her happiness as she shared with her fans, via her private Instagram account, a set of photos from her attendance at the Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco, highlighting her gratitude and joy over the screening of her new film “Al-Sitt” at the festival.

Mona wrote in a caption on the photos: "The experience of screening Al-Sitt at the Marrakech International Film Festival was exceptional in every sense of the word—from the moment I arrived, to the warm welcome, to the audience’s reactions after the screening. It’s a feeling that cannot be described; it’s deep in my heart."

She added: "I am very happy and grateful for the wonderful reactions from the audience and critics, and their words truly delighted me. I want to extend a special thanks to the management of the Marrakech Festival for their elegant organization and for celebrating the film. And heartfelt thanks to the dear Moroccan people for their warm reception, generosity, and kindness, which made me feel from the very first moment as if I were among my family and in my second home."

Mona Zaki also responded to the criticisms surrounding the promo for Al-Sitt, noting that she is used to waves of comments before filming begins. She respects all opinions, whether positive or negative, but remains firm in her conviction that she gives her utmost effort in every project, adding: "I talk to God and tell Him that I worked hard and did my best."

She also spoke about her preparations for her role in the film, explaining that she focused on the character’s internal emotions at every stage of her life rather than trying to imitate them literally, which added a human and realistic dimension to her portrayal on screen.
