Lightning Strike Claims Life of a Teen in Mafraq The teen was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries

In a heartbreaking incident, Mafraq Governorate witnessed a tragic event on Saturday when a 17-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by lightning while participating in a public march in the King Abdullah suburb, according to a security source.

The source added that the teen was immediately transported to King Talal Hospital for medical care, but death came faster, as he passed away upon arrival. His body was then transferred to the forensic department, and authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.

Witnesses reported that the boy had left his home as usual to join the event, but fate prevented his safe return, creating a sad scene that stirred grief among local residents.

Social media users mourned the teen, praying for God’s mercy and forgiveness, expressing their shock and deep sorrow over the sudden loss of a young life in such a tragic manner.
