Motaz Al-Nabulsi, his wife, and their daughter moved into the new villa and passed away shortly after Pictures of the victims spread rapidly across social media, accompanied by heartfelt tributes

A wave of shock swept through social media activists in Jordan, as well as employees of "E-Starta" company, following the identification of the victims in the gas leak incident in Amman on Friday.

The death of Dr. Motaz Hamdallah Al-Nabulsi, a leader in the technology sector and CEO of "E-Starta," along with his wife and daughter, caused a significant shock on social media, alongside widespread grief across Jordan’s economic and tech communities.

The three family members died on Friday due to a tragic suffocation accident caused by heating gas inside the villa they had recently moved into in the Dabouq area of Amman.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate confirmed in a statement to "Roya TV" that rescue and ambulance teams responded to the incident, declaring three deaths and one person suffering from shortness of breath, while security authorities opened an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

The family had not yet settled into their new villa, according to social media activists, and instead of celebrating their new home, they were mourning the tragic loss, with grief too deep to measure.

The company, activists, and the victims’ families mourned the "silent killer" in moving words, praying for mercy and forgiveness for those who passed away.
