Several social media users shared a video showing Tamer Hosny during his Friday prayer yesterday, marking his first public appearance after the recent health crisis that required a partial kidney removal.

In the video, Hosny was seated on a chair during the prayer due to incomplete recovery, and appeared tired when leaving the mosque, relying on close aides for assistance.

The appearance sparked widespread concern among his fans, especially with an upcoming concert in the next few days.

Tamer Hosny had previously revealed details of the surgery by posting his first hospital photo on Instagram, commenting: "I wasn’t planning to talk about my personal matters, I was trying to act normal, but since the news spread… I’ve been suffering from a kidney issue, and recently it required urgent surgical intervention, a partial kidney removal, and thanks be to God… Thanks to everyone checking on me and praying for me."

After the successful operation, Tamer Hosny returned to Egypt, receiving immense support from colleagues and fans.

He expressed gratitude upon returning, saying: "I don’t know how to thank you for all the sincere feelings you sent me during this period, truly, words can’t describe what I felt because of your prayers and your beautiful hearts," adding: "Currently, God willing, I will continue my treatment in Egypt… Keep me in your prayers until God reunites us again safely."
