A 21-year-old man, who was training to become a pilot, was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his home in North Kolkata, according to Indian police.

The body was discovered hanging in the family house in the Girish Park area.

Police sources stated that Soumyaditya Kundu had returned a few days ago from South Africa after completing his pilot training.

The family said he had been quiet since returning to the country, and it appears at first glance that the death was a suicide.

A note was found on the back of his tablet with the word “مفقود” (missing) written on it.

The police are currently investigating the reasons behind the young man’s death, particularly what led him to take this extreme step.

Police sources confirmed that Soumyaditya’s body was found in the family home in the Girish Park area, which is not permanently inhabited, and the young man used to visit it occasionally.
