Following statements by a media personality about Lebanese singer Fairuz allegedly facing a financial crisis, the head of the Lebanese Musicians Syndicate, Farid Boussaid, denied the news entirely, confirming that rumors about her bankruptcy and her request for a government housing unit in Lebanon are completely false.

Boussaid explained in press statements that Fairuz resides in her private villa in the town of Rabieh, valued at millions of dollars, urging media outlets and social media users to verify news and not fall for such rumors, especially those that target an artist of Fairuz's stature, who is a symbol of Arab art and a cultural ambassador for Lebanon.

"Completely False" Posts

Some recent posts claimed that "the neighbor of the moon" was facing financial difficulties, prompting her to request a government apartment in Lebanon. However, this information is false, as Forbes estimated the Lebanese singer Fairuz’s fortune in 2015 at around $36 million.
