The family connection between the two artists, Safaa Abu Al-Saud and Arwa Gouda, surprised their audience at the latter’s wedding, following a love story that united her with Italian businessman John Battist.

It turned out that Safaa Abu Al-Saud, who danced to the tunes of artist Rami Sabry at one of Cairo’s major hotels, is Arwa Gouda’s aunt, making her presence the focus of attention at the event, while video clips of the aunt dancing with her niece went viral.

Arwa Gouda revealed about her aunt: “Aunt Safaa is the main reason I love my work, along with my mom. She is my artistic role model and the first person to support and critique me in my acting roles.”

Safaa Abu Al-Saud, in a previous TV interview, said that her niece Arwa Gouda has a strong and independent personality and makes smart artistic choices. She emphasized that Arwa’s success has nothing to do with favoritism and that she always gives her honest and clear opinions about her work.
