Mayada Al-Hanawi: "The Old Video Was Digitally Manipulated" Mayada Al-Hanawi: "They Are Just Electronic Flies That Don’t Concern Me"
Syrian singer Mayada Al-Hanawi broke her silence for the first time following the circulation of an audio clip allegedly showing her using artificial intelligence technologies during one of her concerts, firmly asserting that these claims are completely false.
Al-Hanawi explained that the circulated clip dates back to a concert held in Dubai in 2021, and that it was digitally manipulated by some users of digital technologies, making it appear unreal and misleading.
"State of Fatigue"
She noted that she was experiencing fatigue during the concert, but insisted on performing out of respect for her audience and fans across the Arab world, stressing that she did not use any AI technologies, and that her voice and performance were entirely natural.
Commenting on those spreading the clip, Al-Hanawi said: "They are just electronic flies that don’t concern me." She added with irony: "Is it possible that the audience’s reaction was artificial intelligence?", highlighting that the original concert had received significant interaction from her fans.
Al-Hanawi emphasized her ability to deliver live singing performances directly on stage without any technical aid, confirming that if she ever wanted to use any alternative means, she would have done so at home, not on stage.
In conclusion, she reassured her audience and fans, sending them a message of love and commitment to provide live and professional performances at all her upcoming concerts.
