The defense team of Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred issued a new statement detailing the latest developments in the cases filed against him before the French courts, confirming that the main hearing has been postponed due to the health condition of the presiding judge.

The defense team explained that while the reasons for the postponement are understandable, they expressed their frustration over the continued delays in reaching a final decision, despite the public prosecutor having requested a dismissal of the case more than four and a half years ago.

Regarding the second case, known in the media as the “Paris File,” which is scheduled to be heard by the Créteil Court in 2026, the defense confirmed that the session has also been postponed, citing what it described as the plaintiff’s behavior. The team added that the plaintiff was summoned to court after being accused of attempting to blackmail Saad Lamjarred and participating in forming a group to carry out a fraud related to the course of justice.

“Holding on to His Innocence” The statement emphasized that Lamjarred “is concerned only with these two cases,” underlining that he has maintained his innocence for more than nine years and is eager for full justice to be served as soon as possible.
