A tragic traffic accident in the Um Al-Basateen area of Naour claimed the lives of two young university students, Taysir Awad and Yazan Al-Deisi, both enrolled at Al-Zaytoonah University.

A video clip showed the material damage caused by the accident, accompanied by an outpouring of prayers for the deceased, asking God to grant them mercy and forgiveness and to inspire their families with patience and solace. The two young men were always together in life, and now they have departed together, leaving a scene filled with grief and heart-wrenching words.

Social media pages were draped in black, accompanied by touching condolences: "The students of Al-Zaytoonah University, Taysir Jihad Awad and Yazan Halabi, have passed away following a tragic traffic accident in the Um Al-Basateen area of Naour. We say only what pleases God: To God we belong and to Him we shall return. May God magnify your reward, grant your loved ones patience, forgive the deceased, and grant them spacious paradise."

Al-Zaytoonah University also mourned the students with heartfelt words on its official social media page: "With hearts faithful to God’s decree, we mourn with deep sorrow and grief our colleagues Taysir Awad and Yazan Halabi, who passed away following a tragic traffic accident. Indeed, we belong to God and to Him we shall return."
