The Jordanian national football team, "Al-Nashama," has begun its technical and physical training in the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for participating in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.

On Saturday evening, the team held its first training session at Al-Aqla Stadium, under the supervision of coach Jamal Salami, with all players selected for the final squad participating.

The Arab Cup squad includes 23 players, representing a mix of experience and youth, with the tournament serving as a key stage to enhance readiness ahead of the historic 2026 World Cup participation.

Crucial Matches in a Tough Group

Al-Nashama is preparing for a challenging test in Group C, which also includes the UAE, Egypt, and Kuwait (who qualified via the playoff). The team’s group stage fixtures are as follows:

This historic presence comes as Jordan has qualified for the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in its history, making it the first Arab team to secure a spot in the tournament.
