?Why did Fadel Shaker’s lawyer request a postponement of his trial

The Lebanese military court has postponed the trial of singer Fadel Shaker to February 3, following a request from his defense lawyer, Amata Mubarak, who cited the need for additional time to review the case files against him.
The first session of the trial, which addresses four charges related to the so-called "Abra incidents," attracted significant media and public attention, as authorities and the public follow the legal proceedings tied to the security events that occurred in the Abra area several years ago.
Shaker had surrendered to the Lebanese army in early October after more than a decade in hiding, mostly spent inside a Palestinian refugee camp, and had previously received prison sentences.
Diabetes Complications
Journalist and art critic Mahmoud Al-Khatib, a close friend of Shaker, explained the singer’s recent habit of wearing sunglasses, revealing that he suffers from complications related to diabetes.
Al-Khatib noted that the illness affects Shaker’s eyesight, making him sensitive to bright light, which is why he frequently wears sunglasses during public appearances.
