No Evidence": A Sudden Development in Elham Al-Fadalah’s Case"

Elham Al-Fadala Released Without Bail
"Case File Lacks Evidence to Justify Detention"
In a sudden development, Kuwait’s Criminal Court released actress Elham Al-Fadala without personal bail, postponing the hearing in her case to the next session on December 8.
Elham Al-Fadala’s lawyer, Mariam Al-Bahar, confirmed her client’s release without bail, praising the fair judiciary and the strong support Al-Fadala received from her fans over the past few days.
During the session, Al-Fadala denied all charges related to allegedly spreading false news through her social media accounts. The defense team emphasized that the case file lacks any evidence that would justify continuing her detention.
Official Investigation
Al-Fadala had faced an official investigation following the circulation of an audio recording attributed to her from 2021, which was considered offensive to Kuwait. The Public Prosecution had issued a 21-day preventive detention order to verify the recording through forensic evidence.
Meanwhile, her daughter, Al-Fajr Al-Tamimi, shared an emotional message on X (formerly Twitter), praying for her mother’s safety. Al-Fadala also received support messages from several fellow artists, including Shaimaa Ali, Iman Faisal, Randa Hajjaj, Hessa Al-Nabhani, Amira Mohammed, and Shaila Sabt, urging for her release and safe return home to her daughters.
