Among the attendees was beauty influencer Al Anoud Al Yousef, who approached Rodriguez for a promotional moment.

While Rodriguez was demonstrating the perfume, its spray accidentally hit Al Yousef’s eyes, as seen in a video circulating online showing her blinking and visibly affected.

Social media users reacted by linking the moment to the cultural concept of the “evil eye,” suggesting that Al Yousef’s discomfort was caused by envy rather than the perfume.
