The Upcoming Series Belongs to the Social Drama Genre Featuring Kamal Abu Rieh, Sherine Azmy, Mimi Gamal, and Madlen Tabar

Syrian actress Nesreen Tafesh is set to kick off the Ramadan 2026 drama season with a new series titled "Ana W Howa W Hom", co-starring with actor Ahmed Salah Hosny. This marks their second collaboration after the huge success of "Khatem El Nemer" in 2020.

The upcoming series belongs to the social drama genre and is based on a story, screenplay, and dialogues written by Nesreen Tafesh in collaboration with a writers' workshop. Syrian director Zahir Qanoua will helm the project, produced by Billion Company. Filming is scheduled to begin in the coming days.

Cast and Participating Actors

In recent weeks, the production team held intensive meetings to finalize the characters and the first episodes. It has been officially announced that Kamal Abu Rieh, Sherine Azmy, Mimi Gamal, and Madlen Tabar will be part of the cast, while the production company continues signing contracts with other actors to be announced soon.

The success of "Khatem El Nemer" reaffirmed the strong on-screen chemistry between Nesreen Tafesh and Ahmed Salah Hosny. The series, a social-romantic story spanning 45 episodes, achieved widespread popularity, building anticipation for their reunion in this new project.

Latest Works of Nesreen Tafesh and Ahmed Salah Hosny

In Ramadan 2025, Nesreen Tafesh starred in the story "Wasmat Aar" within the series "Aswad Baht", written by Karim Sorour and directed by Mamdouh Zaki. The project featured a star-studded cast including Mohamed Lotfy, Hosni Sheta, Madlen Tabar, Ibrahim El-Samman, Basant Hatim, and Wessal Omar, alongside emerging young talents.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Salah Hosny is currently making his solo cinema debut with the film "Oscar – The Return of the Mammoth", starring Hanady Mohanna, Mohamed Tharwat, Mahmoud Abdelmagni, and the young actress Lia Sweidan. The film is based on an idea by Karim Hesham, a story by Ahmed Halim, and screenplay and dialogues by Mostafa Askar and Hamed El-Sharab, directed by Hesham El-Rashidi.
