Jihad Ahmed: “In the end, I lost myself” Essam Sasa: “I saw nothing but goodness from her”

Egyptian artist Jihad Ahmed sparked widespread controversy on social media before officially announcing her separation from the Mahraganat singer Essam Sasa. She posted on her personal account: “I entered the lives of many people and was always an addition, but in the end, I lost myself… and that’s not a small thing.”

Through her post, she expressed feeling that she had lost herself because of the relationship, emphasizing that she had to make the decision to distance herself from certain people who no longer had a positive influence in her life.

“Respecting Privacy”

Jihad stressed that she does not want to discuss details or open the door to rumors, asking her fans to respect her privacy and not interfere in her personal life. She added that anyone who dislikes her behavior can simply block her.

The announcement of the separation came as a surprise to Essam Sasa’s followers, especially after the strong support she had provided him during his legal troubles following a car accident that injured a citizen.

Jihad confirmed the news through Instagram Stories with a brief statement: “The separation between me and Abu Raheem has been finalized”, without revealing any additional details about the reasons or circumstances of the split.

In response, Essam Sasa posted on his official Instagram account, expressing his deep respect for his former partner: “God knows I never saw anything bad from this woman in my life, and I only saw goodness from her. She was never wronged me, on the contrary, so no one can wrong her. May God set things right for everyone and protect her from all people.”
