On Tuesday morning, he left for work as usual, but fate overtook him, and he returned home in a tragic way. The worker died inside the Aqaba Company for Ports Operation and Management after parts of a crane fell during maintenance operations.
The Public Security Directorate explained in a statement received by Roya TV on Tuesday that the worker died as a result of a metal piece falling on him in the Aqaba governorate.
Ambulance crews from the Aqaba Civil Defense Department immediately rushed to the scene and transferred the body to the nearest hospital, while an investigation was opened to determine the cause of the accident—an accident marked by shock and painful scenes.
