A Russian tourist managed to prevent her mobile phone from being stolen in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, after an unexpected confrontation with two thieves while she was stopped at a pedestrian crossing

According to a media channel, the 33-year-old tourist was calmly riding her bicycle when two men on a motorcycle approached her and tried to snatch her phone

However, the woman acted quickly, grabbing one of the thieves, 26 years old, by the leg and preventing him from escaping

The thief fell to the ground while the tourist held on until bystanders gathered to assist her, while the other accomplice managed to flee on the motorcycle

The channel added that surveillance footage later helped police track down the suspects, leading to their arrest following the incident
