Egyptian folk singer Ismail Al-Laithi passed away on Monday, several days after falling into a coma due to a severe traffic accident

The crash occurred early Friday morning on “Old Army Road” in the Mallawi district of Minya governorate, southern Egypt

Authorities reported that the collision between two cars resulted in three deaths and seven injuries of varying severity

The victims and the injured were transported to the Specialized Hospital in Mallawi, and an official report was filed regarding the incident
