The Jordan Football Association announced a change to the match schedule for the 2025/2026 Jordan Cup

The association decided to postpone the match between Al-Baqa’a and Al-Wehdat in the round of 16 of the tournament

The match was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 8, at King Abdullah II Stadium at 6:00 PM, but the new decision moved it by one day

New date: Sunday, November 9, 2025 Stadium: King Abdullah II Stadium Time: 6:00 PM

The round of 16 and subsequent stages of the Jordan Cup are played in a single-elimination format. This means there is no room for error, and any result will determine whether a team advances to the next round or is eliminated from the competition

Regarding how the result is decided, the tournament regulations state that if a round-of-16 match ends in a draw at full time, it will go directly to a penalty shootout without extra time, to determine the team advancing to the quarterfinals
