Egyptian folk singer Ismail El-Leithi suffered a severe car accident, resulting in a skull fracture and a critical condition.

El-Leithi was rushed to the hospital after his vehicle collided head-on with another car on the Eastern Desert Road near Mallawi, Minya Governorate, while returning from a performance in Upper Egypt. The crash left his car completely destroyed, caused severe injuries including a skull fracture, and put him into a deep coma. Three people died and seven others, including members of his band, were injured.

Emergency services and security teams quickly arrived at the scene, transported the injured to hospitals, and the victims’ bodies were taken to the morgue. An official report was filed, and the public prosecutor was notified to begin investigations.

El-Leithi underwent emergency surgery to stop severe internal bleeding. His wife and sister confirmed that his condition remains critical, as fans continue to pray for his swift recovery and return to normal life.

His wife, Shaimaa Saeed, broke down upon arriving at the hospital and posted a TikTok video pleading with followers to pray for her husband’s health. The video drew widespread sympathy from fans, who expressed solidarity and wished for his safe recovery.
