Syrian actress Shokran Mortaja documented moments of performing her Umrah rituals during her visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She shared a photo via the "Story" feature on her Instagram account, showing her in the courtyard of the Grand Mosque, wearing a black abaya and hijab, standing before the Holy Kaaba with her hands raised in prayer, writing: "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk."

Mortaja also continued her cultural and artistic activities as part of Riyadh Season. On Tuesday, she visited the "Ana Arabiya" exhibition, appearing in an elegant black Arabic abaya embroidered with gold patterns. She toured the exhibition halls, took photos with her fans, and visited sections for perfumes and Arabic abayas, before concluding her tour with colorful selfies alongside a parrot. The actress expressed her happiness at participating, thanking the Saudi people for their warm welcome and praising the achievements of Saudi and Arab women, describing them as "creative."

"Ailat Al-Malik"

On the drama front, Shokran Mortaja is preparing to participate in the upcoming Ramadan season with several works, most notably the series "Ailat Al-Malik" directed by Mohamed Abdel Aziz. She plays the role of "Sundus," a poor woman suffering from her husband’s oppression, adding a distinguished presence to her career in Ramadan drama.

During her current visit, Shokran Mortaja combines religious, cultural, and artistic activities, reaffirming her prominent presence in the Arab entertainment scene while showing respect and appreciation for the Kingdom’s cultural and religious heritage.
