British authorities are investigating three incidents in which fireworks were used to target homes in the Tang Hall area of York

The incidents occurred between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. on Monday on Carter Avenue, Fourth Avenue, and Olympian Court

Fireworks were placed through mailboxes at two homes and through a window at another, posing a serious risk to residents and property

Sergeant Luke Hutchinson of the York Neighbourhood Policing Team said: These incidents are clearly concerning, and we are doing everything we can to identify the suspects. Fortunately, no injuries or serious damage were reported, but the consequences could have been devastating
