A video circulating on social media shows four apartments that relied on the adjacent building as a fourth wall, as these units did not have an independent wall on that side

After the demolition, the families’ homes were left suddenly exposed, causing shock and concern for one of the residents

Zeytinburnu, located on Istanbul’s European side, is a historic residential area home to around half a million people

The area is also known for the “Fiskhane” complex, converted from a historic building into a center housing restaurants, cafes, and exhibition spaces
