The opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum featured a massive artistic lineup with unprecedented use of technology and dazzling performances described as “magical.”

The event included aerial displays using hundreds of drones that created light formations mimicking ancient Egyptian symbols, visually narrating the story of Pharaonic civilization in a stunning artistic style.

The ceremony also showcased integrated artistic segments, not separate performances, but a single continuous artistic scene from start to finish, combining creativity and history in a way that mesmerized the audience.

Wide Artistic Participation The event brought together some of the most prominent artists and creators, including soprano Fatma Said, Sherihan, Sherine Reda, Sherif Mounir, Mona Zaki, Ahmed Helmy, Ahmed Malek, Huda Al-Mufti, Salma Abu Deif, Yasmina Al-Abd, Ahmed Ghazy, composer Hisham Nazih, maestro Nayer Nagi, directors Mazen Al-Motawel and Ahmed Al-Morsi, and artist Ahmed Essam, designer of the fireworks show, presenting a complete artistic and cultural experience worthy of the historic event.
