A factory worker in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, is facing a lawsuit after accidentally receiving over 7 million rubles (approximately $87,000) intended for his colleagues and refusing to return the money.

Vladimir Rychagov discovered the unexpected transfer while checking his banking app at the beginning of the year.

The amount was credited to his account along with his regular vacation pay of 46,954 rubles ($581).

The company’s accounting department informed him that the transfer was made by mistake and that he needed to return the funds, but Rychagov refused to comply.

Following his refusal, the factory management decided to file a lawsuit to recover the money.
