Kim Kardashian Questions Moon Landing, NASA Responds
The U.S. space agency NASA responded to reality TV star Kim Kardashian after she expressed doubts about the authenticity of the 1969 Moon landing during a recent episode of her hit show.
In the latest episode, Kardashian spoke with actress Sarah Paulson behind the scenes of her new project All’s Fair, saying she didn’t believe the Moon landing actually happened. She added, “I’ve read interviews and articles about Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, but some of Aldrin’s recent statements made me question the whole story.”
“We’ve Been to the Moon Before”
Her comments sparked widespread reactions on social media, prompting NASA to reply directly on X (formerly Twitter). Acting Administrator Sean Duffy wrote, “Yes, @KimKardashian, we went to the Moon… six times!”
Duffy also emphasized that NASA continues its space exploration efforts, highlighting the Artemis program, which aims to return humans to the Moon soon under the current U.S. administration.
Kardashian concluded the episode saying, “People will call me crazy no matter what, but go on TikTok and see for yourselves.”
These remarks add another chapter to the ongoing controversy surrounding Kim Kardashian, who frequently shares provocative opinions—even on some of humanity’s most iconic achievements.
