In a heartfelt moment on live TV, Lebanese presenter Ruba Habshi announced a temporary pause from hosting her show to begin a new treatment journey after cancer returned.

During her live broadcast on one of the channels, Habshi bid farewell to her audience calmly and steadily, maintaining her strong voice and signature smile despite the shock of the diagnosis.

"An Unforgettable Experience"

In a video shared with her followers, she said: "Today we reach the end of this episode of Sahafat Al-Youm, but this ending is different… I am not leaving because of work or travel, but because of my battle with cancer once again."

She added: "It’s time to return to Lebanon for treatment. I thank my brothers for all their support, and thank you for an unforgettable experience. I am leaving now, but I will return… and I will come back stronger, God willing."

Last year, Ruba Habshi spoke openly about two battles she was facing with unyielding determination: fighting cancer and coping with the daily hardships of life in Lebanon.

Despite losing her hair during treatment, she always appeared elegantly on screen, proving that the illness could never defeat her spirit.
