A man killed his wife in a horrific incident in Cairo, then covered her body and turned on the air conditioning in an attempt to delay the discovery of the crime while escaping.

Egyptian authorities reported that the victim’s two sisters noticed her mysterious absence and her failure to answer phone calls, leading them to find her body in the bedroom.

Investigations revealed that the victim had been married to the killer for only about three months, but disputes erupted quickly after she discovered his multiple relationships with other women.

The inquiry also indicated that the husband became angry at his wife’s attempts to intervene in his affairs, took a knife, and attacked her in their bedroom, then covered her body and turned on the air conditioning before fleeing.

The husband was arrested after police were able to determine his location through CCTV footage around the property where the crime occurred.
