"Miss Palestine Organization Clarifies: "Nadine Ayoub Is the Official Representative of the Country

The Miss Palestine Organization responded to recent social media discussions regarding who represents Palestine in international beauty pageants.
In a statement sent to "Roya TV," the organization clarified that Yara Bishi was nominated in 2023 to compete for the title of "Miss Palestine" and represent Palestine in an international competition. However, her nomination was withdrawn before the official awarding of the title due to her failure to comply with the organization’s official agreements and standards.
The organization emphasized that Yara Bishi never officially held the title of Miss Palestine and later participated independently in the Miss Grand International pageant without any official authorization from the Miss Palestine Organization. It noted that this pageant allows individual participation and does not adhere to the rigorous international standards followed by major competitions like Miss Universe, which is considered the most credible pageant globally, focusing on humanitarian causes and social responsibility rather than just physical beauty.
"Highest Standards of Integrity"
The organization stressed that Miss Universe operates under the highest standards of integrity and requires every national representative to be officially selected by a recognized national organization. Accordingly, Nadine Ayoub, who won the title of Miss Palestine in 2022, is the first official Palestinian representative in history to participate in Miss Universe 2025, scheduled to take place in Thailand from November 2 to 21, 2025.
The statement highlighted that Nadine Ayoub is a prominent figure in sustainability, education, and women’s empowerment. She founded the Sayidat Falasteen Foundation to support women and children in Palestine through educational and entrepreneurial programs. Additionally, she established the Olive Green Academy, an initiative focused on training youth and women in green entrepreneurship and technology for sustainable development.
"Under the Supervision and Accreditation of Leading International Agencies"
The organization concluded by affirming that it is the sole official body authorized to award the title of "Miss Palestine," operating under the supervision and accreditation of leading international agencies and relevant government bodies. It warned against using the title without official coronation by the organization.
The statement also announced the preparations for the Miss Palestine 2026 pageant, which will be held under the organization’s full supervision according to international standards.
