Omar Kamal clarifies the crisis surrounding Mohamed Fouad album's leak

Singer Omar Kamal revealed the details of the album crisis that sparked wide controversy in the Egyptian music scene, following the leak of three songs from a work originally intended to be released by Mohamed Fouad
Kamal explained that the album's rights were officially transferred to him and provided insight into what happened behind the scenes
He added that disagreements between Mohamed Fouad and the production company prevented the album from being released under Fouad's name, which led to the transfer of the songs' rights to him
Regarding the confusion in the music scene and the questions raised by the crisis, Kamal said he prefers to let the audience judge the situation without placing blame on anyone
He confirmed that one of the songs from his new album was among the leaked material, emphasizing that his team had no involvement in the leak whatsoever
Kamal denied any personal conflict or direct communication with Mohamed Fouad regarding the leaks, stressing that his focus remains on releasing the album on schedule and presenting it in the best possible way
He added that the original album was produced by the same company he currently works with, featuring some of Egypt's top music creators, including Tamer Hussein, Aziz El Shafie, and Nader Hamdy
According to Kamal, the production cost ranged between 13 and 15 million Egyptian pounds before Fouad decided to withdraw from releasing the album after its completion, prompting the company to halt the purchase of any new works
