Egyptian singer Amr Diab concluded the eighth edition of the El Gouna Film Festival with a spectacular concert that transformed the coastal city into a vibrant hub of joy and excitement, attended by a notable gathering of stars and filmmakers from Egypt, the Arab world, and internationally.

On his official Instagram account, the “Hobaba” shared a clip from behind the scenes of the concert, commenting: "From the red carpet to the rhythm… Amr Diab concludes the El Gouna Film Festival with his pure magic," highlighting the moments that combined the glamour of cinema with the spirit of music.

Diab opened his performance with his famous song "Ya Ana Ya La," prompting the audience to sing and dance along to every track, creating an atmosphere of sheer delight throughout the event.

The concert, held on Friday, October 24, at the El Gouna Conference Center, marked the festival’s grand finale. During the event, the winners of the feature, documentary, and short film competitions were announced, alongside the NETPAC and FIPRESCI awards from the “CineGouna” platform supporting independent film projects.

Over $300,000 in financial and service awards were distributed among 17 film projects participating in the development and post-production platforms, amid moments of celebration honoring a distinguished group of creatives who have left a lasting mark on the cinematic scene, in an artistic ceremony blending enchanting lighting, music, and the unique creative spirit that defines the El Gouna Film Festival year after year.
