Egyptian actress Sama El Masry shared photos on her Facebook account showing herself outside a hospital in 6th of October City, revealing that she is dealing with a health issue from an undiagnosed disease.

She explained that she is currently undergoing a series of medical tests and scans to accurately identify the nature of her condition.

She wrote: Praise be to God for everything… from Dar Al Fouad Hospital today… tests and scans are ongoing until the doctors find out exactly what illness I have… whatever God brings is good, the most important thing is your prayers for my recovery and for all patients, God willing

Ongoing legal troubles

Earlier, lawyer Hussein Al-Mut’ani filed an official complaint against Sama El Masry, accusing her of committing fraud and online scams through her social media accounts, in addition to money laundering, promoting immorality, and failing to comply with previously imposed police monitoring

The complaint noted that Sama El Masry had shared videos violating public decency, and that final court rulings had sentenced her to prison terms of varying lengths, which she did not serve

The lawyer also stated that her previous claims of repentance were insincere and used to mislead the public and continue her activities

Furthermore, the Administrative Court rejected her candidacy for the House of Representatives due to failing to meet the good reputation requirement, a decision later upheld by the Supreme Administrative Court
