Announcement of the “Nashama” Squad for the West Asian U-17 Championship in Aqaba
The technical staff of Jordan’s U-17 national football team, led by coach Khaled Saad, has announced the final 23-man squad in preparation for participation in the 2025 West Asian Football Federation U-17 Championship.
The Jordan Football Association will host the tournament in Aqaba from October 27 to November 4.
Jordan’s Group B Schedule
The “Nashama” will kick off their campaign in Group B with a strong opener against Palestine.

Tournament Format and Groups
A total of seven teams will compete in the championship, divided into two groups:
- Group A: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait
- Group B: Jordan, Syria, Palestine
Each group will play a single round-robin stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
Preparation for the Asian Qualifiers
This championship serves as a crucial step in the team’s preparation for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Qualifiers.
Jordan’s U-17 team was drawn in Group E alongside Australia, Iraq, the Philippines, and Bhutan. The qualifiers will take place from November 22 to 30.
