Group B Analysis and Jordan's Chances:

The draw for the beach volleyball tournament, held Sunday evening, placed the national team in Group B, a highly competitive group that includes, in addition to Jordan, Bahrain (the host country), Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, and Mongolia.

This group represents a real challenge for the Jordanian duo, given the extensive experience of Southeast Asian teams such as Thailand and Indonesia in this sport, in addition to the home-field advantage and the support of the fans in favor of Bahrain. Thailand, the "Al-Nashmiyyat"'s primary competitor, is considered one of the strongest beach volleyball schools in Asia, requiring the utmost concentration and tactical harmony from Shahaltogh and Qatabi.

Group A also includes other strong teams: China, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.

Coach Ahmed Al-Awamleh's plans focus on enhancing understanding between the two players in defensive aspects, especially receiving and covering, and utilizing their individual skills in attack and scoring from difficult angles, which are crucial aspects of the game of beach volleyball.

Jordan's participation in this tournament primarily aims to:

Gain experience: Providing young players with the opportunity to directly interact with strong schools in Asia.Improve rankings: Striving to achieve the greatest number of victories to raise Jordan's ranking in this emerging sport.Qualifying for the knockout rounds: Taking advantage of the tournament system, which provides the opportunity to qualify for the largest number of teams.Read also: When football glory blends with humanitarian action... Qualifying opportunities are strong according to the tournament format:

What distinguishes this year's Asian Youth Games is the flexible qualification system, which provides ample opportunities for teams to advance to the advanced stages. According to the tournament format, the top four teams in each group advance to the quarterfinals.

This system puts the goal of qualification within reach of the Jordanian team, as two or three wins out of five matches are sufficient to guarantee a place in the quarterfinals.

Monday's match against Thailand is considered a "test of strength" and a "test of level" that will reflect the team's readiness and identify areas that need to be worked on and corrected in subsequent matches.

Hopes remain pinned on the duo of Lian Shahaltogh and Marian Qatabi to deliver an honorable performance that reflects the development of Jordanian women's sports.
