This victory confirms the technical and physical readiness that the technical staff seeks to instill in the young "Nashama" players. This is part of the team's long-term preparation plan for upcoming football events, which require the highest levels of preparation.
Ideal scenario and early offensive pressure:
The national team began the match with strength and high concentration, following the instructions of head coach Ashraf Shatat. The players applied early offensive pressure on the Kuwaiti defense, aiming to snatch a goal that would calm nerves and facilitate the task of controlling the game.
This pressure didn't take long to bear fruit, as in the 16th minute, the energetic striker Khaled Al-Saasaa opened the scoring for the national team.
The goal came after an excellent follow-up to a cross inside the penalty area, which Al-Saasaa confidently placed into the net, giving his team a deserved lead and putting them in the lead.
The early goal reflected the fighting spirit and tactical focus of the Jordanian national team players. The "Brave Ones" continued their dominance on the field throughout the remainder of the first half, displaying excellent defensive organization that prevented any real threat to the team's goal.
The team's performance was also characterized by "positive possession." Possession was not simply a matter of ineffective passes, but rather focused on building attacks from the flanks and in the center, leading to a deserved 1-0 lead at the end of the first half.
Strengthened Second-Half Advantage:
At the start of the second half, the national under-15 team continued to demonstrate its technical and physical superiority.
Despite the substitutions made by the coaching staff to give the largest number of players opportunities and evaluate alternatives, the team's collective performance was not affected.
In the 60th minute, the national team extended its lead with a beautiful second goal, scored by Yousef Abu Sheikha. Abu Sheikha capitalized on a rebound from the Kuwaiti goalkeeper, who failed to control a powerful, surprising shot from outside the penalty area, and confidently followed it up to score the second goal, putting the match on a clear path in Jordan's favor.
The national team continued to dominate the match until the final whistle, successfully keeping a clean sheet, a positive indicator of the strength of the back line and the teamwork in defense.
Lineup and Substitutions:
The national team represented the following lineup: Karam Al-Najjar in goal, and Jameel Al-Essa (Ahmed Hassan), Ibrahim Al-Fawadleh, Fares Abu Zema (Obada Ibrahim), Fayez Al-Rawashdeh, Mohammed Al-Shabool (Mohammed Ahmed), Abdul Hamid Al-Badayneh, Yousef Abu Sheikha (Abdul Karim Al-Fayez), Ahmed Bani Yassin, Rashed Ishtiwi (Laith Al-Dardour), and Khaled Al-Sa'asa (Faisal Al-Hourani). These substitutions gave the technical staff the opportunity to implement different plans and evaluate the players in real competitive conditions.
Continued Camp and Next Match:
The national team continues its productive training camp in Kuwait until October 23. The remaining match in the camp program is a second and final friendly match against the Kuwaiti national team, scheduled for Wednesday, October 22.
The technical staff looks forward to making the most of this match to consolidate the required technical style and increase cohesion among the players.
By providing all means of support, including camps and international matches, the Jordan Football Association affirms its commitment to achieving the highest levels of preparation for the national under-15 team.
