In a unique culinary experience, a restaurant in Spain is offering a burger sandwich considered the most expensive in the world, priced at around $11,000 USD (approximately €9,450).

The restaurant is located in Cabrera del Mar in the Catalonia region and is renowned for its luxurious Basque cuisine.

According to Oddity Central, this burger is the result of eight years of research and experimentation by the restaurant’s chefs to perfect this rare recipe.

Unlike other luxury foods that rely on extravagant ingredients such as edible gold, this burger’s high price comes from the quality of its ingredients and the exclusive dining experience it provides.

The restaurant was founded by Spanish chef Bosco Jiménez, known as BdeVikingo, who believes that “true luxury should be rare and not easily accessible.”

Customers cannot order this burger from the regular menu or through normal reservations. It is served by special invitation only to a limited number of guests in a private room, with the selection criteria kept confidential.

Premium Ingredients The burger is made from the three finest types of meat in the world, paired with a rare European cheese and a special sauce, while the rest of the ingredients remain a closely guarded secret.

The restaurant team insists the experience justifies the steep price, though many question paying the equivalent of a small car for a single burger. Nevertheless, this gourmet creation officially surpasses the “Golden Boy” burger to become the most expensive burger in the world, both in terms of price and experience.
